Before your adventure can begin, you must discover what sort of hero you are.

This is not always obvious. Some heroes look heroic immediately. Others need better lighting, a sharper sword, and a few encouraging numbers written on a character sheet.

You stand before an old wooden desk. On it lies a blank adventure sheet, a blunt pencil, and a pair of dice that seem slightly too pleased with themselves.

Roll your starting scores and prepare to meet the version of yourself the dice think you deserve.
