You are Barry Trotter, a very average wizard at a very old university where the portraits know more than the students and most of the furniture has tenure.

Today you need to get into the Restricted Book Section.

This would be easier if it were not guarded by three Elder Wizards, two enchanted lecterns, and a portrait of a former Dean who reports suspicious behaviour by coughing meaningfully.

You need some kind of invisibility thing.

Unfortunately, your magical possessions are mostly hand-me-downs, joke-shop rejects, and items your uncle once described as 'probably safe if you don't lick them'.
